Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Erik Anthony (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Mac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Erik Anthony! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Max Mac! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Nard Betker and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mac fails to land with a series of punches.
Mac scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Anthony doesn't seem bothered though. The fight stays on the outside here - Mac looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Anthony on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Max Mac seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mac lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Anthony at a distance.
Mac shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Mac showed some decent athleticism there. Mac is looking to take a break and control but Anthony is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Anthony is pressing down on Mac's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Mac is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Anthony trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Anthony has a closed guard, preventing Mac from standing up. Mac got a little sloppy there for a moment and Anthony has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mac has managed to get both his arms back between Anthony's legs - danger averted. Mac would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Anthony lands with a heel strike from the guard.
Mac won't allow Anthony to sweep him here. Anthony is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Mac misses with the combination.
Mac tries to clinch there but Anthony circles away.
Anthony shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Mac shoots and misses and Anthony counters with a shoot takedown. Mac fights it but they end up in guard. Anthony is breathing heavily. Mac looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Mac has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Anthony should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Mac has tightened it up now! Anthony should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Max Mac!
