Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Cornell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cornell has chosen Wardance as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Ryan Lee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Andrew Cornell! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Glass and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lee ducks under a wild hook from Cornell. Lee shoots in and bounces Cornell off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Lee postures up in Cornell's guard and throws a big left but Cornell blocks it. Lee stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cornell swivels though and keeps the full guard. Lee content to stall in guard here. Lee tries to free his leg and advance position but Cornell is retaining full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cornell being controlled here, momentarily. Lee wants to control from the top but Cornell keeps moving. Lee throws a big right hand that misses.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Lee avoids a punch combination nicely.
Lee shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Cornell defends it nicely. Lee closes this distance looking for a takedown but Cornell circles away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Cornell throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Lee sees it coming and avoids it easily. Cornell throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Cornell moves in looking to clinch but Lee pushes him off. A decent looking body kick lands there for Cornell. Lee gets the takedown into side control. Lee in side control, just content to control the action for now. Cornell is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lee postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Cornell regains half guard, as Lee was trying to land strikes. Cornell is trying to stand up here but Lee is controlling him well. Lee not landing any meaningful shots this time. Lee thows a huge punch but Cornell dodges it nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Lee thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Cornell moves into the clinch successfully.
Cornell throws an elbow but it misses.
Lee goes for a takedown attempt but Cornell pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ryan Lee. That's going to take a lot out of him. Cornell stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Cornell wants it to stay on the feet. Cornell fails in his attempt to clinch. Cornell tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lee swats him away and circles back towards the center. Cornell misses with a body kick. Lee tries to bum rush Cornell with a series of wild strikes but Cornell uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Cornell tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lee paws at him with a jab and circles away. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Lee shoots in but Cornell avoids the takedown attempt easily. Cornell stuffs the takedown attempt from Lee. Lee gets slowly back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Ryan Lee will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
A head kick misses from Cornell. Lee throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Cornell was covering up waiting for the punch and Lee finishes the takedown easily into guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lee accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Cornell is looking to stand up but Lee isn't so interested in that idea. Lee loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Lee throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Cornell works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee tries to free his leg and advance position but Cornell is retaining full guard. Cornell utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lee trying to control the position from guard on top but Cornell is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Lee thows a big elbow that misses.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Lee circles away from the clinch attempt.
Cornell tries a head kick but it misses.
A big right from Cornell misses. Lee closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Cornell did well to prevent Lee getting side control. Lee trying to control from half guard but Cornell is working away.

Nice strikes from Lee there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lee is controlling the pace.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Lee throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Lee shoots in looking for a takedown. Cornell tries to sprawl out of it but Lee keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Cornell manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Lee dives in and grabs Cornell's left leg, looking for a takedown. Cornell pushes down on Lee's head and hops out. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Cornell misses with a jab, cross combination.
Lee moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Lee shoots in but Cornell avoids the takedown attempt easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ryan Lee. That's going to take a lot out of him. Cornell connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ryan Lee dominated that second round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Cornell wants to clinch up but Lee keeps it at a distance. Cornell tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Cornell tries to close the distance and clinch but Lee swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Lee shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Lee was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Cornell is squirming around, avoiding Lee's attempts to control the action. Lee raining down shots from the mount! Lee putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee unloading with bombs! Lee throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Cornell because Lee loaded up on that one. Lee throwing strikes here but Cornell is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Cornell is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Lee lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Lee throwing strikes here but Cornell is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Lee misses with a head shot. Lee controlling from the full mount. Lee postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Cornell looks a forlorn figure.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Lee working the ground and pound effectively.

Lee is in the full mount, landing strikes. Lee landing shots from mount. Lee tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
And that's the end of the fight! Ryan Lee showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Lee, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
