Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Otavio Arlindo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mayron Rocha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Otavio Arlindo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mayron Rocha!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Leandro Rodrigues and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rocha fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Arlindo closes the distance and pushes Rocha back into the cage.
Arlindo breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Arlindo keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Arlindo misses with a series of wild punches.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Arlindo tries to control but Rocha wriggling away.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Otavio Arlindo dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Arlindo lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Rocha stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Arlindo.
Arlindo gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Rocha accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Rocha throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Arlindo works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Rocha drops back, looking for a kneebar! Arlindo looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Arlindo looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Arlindo!
Rocha is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Arlindo is controlling him well.
Rocha is breathing heavily.

Arlindo wants to stand but Rocha is controlling his arm.
Arlindo tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Arlindo decides to stand back up. Arlindo steps back and let's Rocha get back to his feet.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Rocha scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

You can see the frustration on Arlindo's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Rocha decides to stand back up.
Rocha bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mayron Rocha showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Rocha shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Rocha showed some decent athleticism there.
Arlindo is trying to maintain the position but Rocha is very close to passing his half guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Arlindo doesn't manage to clinch there - Rocha circles away.

Arlindo misses with a body shot.
Rocha fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Arlindo sprawls well initially but Rocha persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Rocha slips a nice elbow through Arlindo's hands, connecting with Arlindo's forehead.
Rocha takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Rocha stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Arlindo swivels though and keeps the full guard.

and Rocha counters with a nice double leg into side control. Arlindo won't be happy with that.

I think Rocha has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
