Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hugh Jorgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Spike Spiegel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jorgan's entrance music is Dick In A Box. A fine choice. Spiegel is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Tank by The Seatbelts. Spike Spiegel told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Donatello Bradman and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spiegel misses with a straight left.
A slow jab from Spiegel misses its intended target.

Spiegel scores with the left hand. Jorgan knows he should have avoided that one.
Jorgan shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Spiegel sprawls well. Spiegel wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jorgan gets slowly back to his feet.

Spiegel throws a lazy right hand but Jorgan sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Jorgan moves away from the strike by Spiegel.
Spiegel is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Nice sprawl there from Spiegel as Jorgan shoots in.
Spiegel throws out a loose jab but Jorgan uses good head movement to avoid it.
Jorgan shoots in and drives through. Spiegel sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hugh Jorgan. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Spike Spiegel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Spiegel looks to land a combination but Jorgan avoids it well.
Spiegel bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Jorgan on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Spiegel will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A lazy left from Spiegel finds it's target.
Jorgan is rocked!
Spiegel drops Jorgan with a straight right hand, right on the button! Spiegel follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
