Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Eliza Hachem and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Araya lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kochanowski circles away quickly and effectively.
Kochanowski darts in and clinches Araya up against the cage.
Araya with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Araya tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Kochanowski turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Kochanowski manages to end up in side control.
Kochanowski looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Araya is not content to let Kochanowski control the position.
Kochanowski is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Araya knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Kochanowski thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Araya pushes Kochanowski away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Kochanowski gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Kochanowski swings around for an armbar but Araya sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Kochanowski's guard.
Araya would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and Kochanowski counters by clinching up.

Araya is looking to control Kochanowski's arms but Kochanowski gets an underhook and turns him. Now Araya has his back to the cage.

Araya can't seem to implement his control oriented gameplan at the moment. That's no bad thing of course, for those of us who want to see a good fight.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Kochanowski holds on and takes a little breather.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Kochanowski is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Araya pulls his head out easily.
Araya wants to stand up but Kochanowski has a hold of him and won't allow it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Araya throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Kochanowski blocks it with crossed arms.
Kochanowski is working for takedown but Araya is calmly controlling the position for now.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Kochanowski has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Araya regains guard immediately.

Jakub Kochanowski showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Araya's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Kochanowski has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Araya can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
