Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Steven Jibro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kay Olubiy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Olubiy is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by hitman. Kay Olubiy is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Steven Jibro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Kay Olubiy!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Steven Brown and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Olubiy bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Jibro sneaks back into half guard.
Olubiy decides to stand up.
Jibro shoots and misses
and Olubiy decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jibro's guard.
Jibro is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Jibro keeping moving, preventing Olubiy from controlling successfully.
Jibro trying to keep a closed guard but Olubiy is proving a slippery customer.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Olubiy throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Jibro works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Olubiy content to stall in guard here.
Jibro avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Olubiy slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Olubiy closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Jibro tries to break free but Olubiy pushes him back against the cage.
Jibro goes for a takedown in the clinch but Olubiy prevents it.
Olubiy doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Jibro tries to pull guard but Olubiy won't allow it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Steven Jibro. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Olubiy lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Jibro backwards.
Jibro blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Olubiy letting Jibro take a breather here.
Olubiy is trying to break the clinch but Jibro has him pressed against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Jibro connects with a nasty looking knee right to Olubiy's face.
Jibro lands a right hand that snaps the head of Olubiy backwards.
Jibro drags the fight down to the ground.
Olubiy pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jibro is keeping the position for now.
Jibro is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Olubiy postures up.
Jibro is breathing heavily.
Jibro tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Olubiy slips nicely into half guard.
Olubiy lands strikes from half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Olubiy passes to side control.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Olubiy is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Jibro will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
You can see the frustration on Jibro's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Jibro tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Olubiy wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Olubiy is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Jibro looks calm but he's in trouble here. Olubiy gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Jibro is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Olubiy lets go of the hold and Jibro can pop his arm back in it's socket.
