Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Igor Baravski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ronan Keller! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Joseph Jones and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Keller misses with a straight right. Baravski stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Keller. A nice leg kick lands there from Baravski. Baravski doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Baravski lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
It looks like Ronan Keller has been cut. Baravski comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. This has been an exciting period of action! Baravski fails in his attempt to clinch. Baravski displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Keller throws out the jab. Baravski shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Keller preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Baravski throwing strikes from guard but Keller blocks nicely. Baravski wants to stand but Keller has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Baravski wants to control from the top but Keller keeps moving.

Baravski scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Keller doesn't seem bothered though. Keller throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Baravski with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Keller looks gassed! Keller fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Baravski avoids it really well and circles away. Baravski shoots in and drives through. Keller sprawls well. Baravski tries to close the distance and clinch up but Keller swats him away and circles back towards the center.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Keller tries to keep at a distance but Baravski has taken the fight into the clinch. Keller gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Baravski.
Baravski's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Keller closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Keller lands in his opponent's guard. Baravski wants to get back to his feet but Keller is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Baravski on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Baravski tries to get out of the position. Keller trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Keller is looking to work some ground and pound but Baravski has wrist control. Keller has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Baravski has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Keller can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Keller lands a couple of digs. Keller thows a big elbow that misses. Baravski is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Keller throws a big right hand that misses.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Keller darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Keller looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Keller is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Baravski trying to control the position.

Keller won't allow Baravski to sweep him here. Keller throwing strikes from guard but Baravski blocks nicely. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Baravski working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Keller.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Baravski circles away from the clinch attempt and Baravski counters with a right hand to the body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Baravski throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Keller's waist but Keller gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Baravski off to one side. Keller jabbing away but nothing is landing. Keller doesn't manage to clinch there - Baravski circles away.
Baravski throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Baravski tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Keller swivels and escapes. Keller avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Baravski is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Keller throws a looping overhand right but Baravski ducks down to avoid it. Baravski dodges the punch combination from Keller.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Keller throws the left hand but Baravski avoids the punch easily. Baravski throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Keller shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Baravski is trying to get back to full guard. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Keller lands a nice short elbow. Keller wants to pass to mount but Baravski is defending the position. Keller decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Nice uppercut lands for Keller. That snapped Baravski's head back.
Baravski gets caught flat footed, as Keller shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Keller wants to control from the top but Baravski keeps moving. Keller stops Baravski from standing up.

Baravski knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Keller on the ground. Baravski is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Keller working some strikes from top position. Keller is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Keller keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Baravski's head. Keller stands up over Baravski, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Keller in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Keller is looking to work some ground and pound but Baravski has wrist control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Keller postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Baravski utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Baravski has his feet on Keller's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Nice takedown defense from Keller. No joy for Baravski on that attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Igor Baravski. That's going to take a lot out of him. Baravski darts in trying to clinch and Keller counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Baravski thinking. Keller connects with a nice looking jab.

Keller jabs at Baravski's body. Baravski throws a leg kick but Keller sees it coming and moves out of range. Baravski takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Baravski scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Baravski decides to stand and escape the position. Keller wants to clinch but Baravski slips to the side and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Both fighters are breathing heavily. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Baravski shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Keller defends it nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice shot lands for Keller. Keller looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Baravski!
