The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Anthony Taglia and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Howard, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Howard lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Midtimbang circles away quickly and effectively.
Midtimbang closes the distance and pushes Howard back into the cage.
Midtimbang escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Nice sprawl there from Howard as Midtimbang shoots in.
A head kick misses from Midtimbang.
Midtimbang takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
A slow jab from Howard misses its intended target.

Midtimbang tries to score a power double leg takedown but Howard sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Midtimbang somewhat.

Midtimbang throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Howard's waist but Howard gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Midtimbang off to one side.

Howard refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Howard's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
