Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Charles Bronson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin koch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Charles Bronson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kevin koch!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Gwen Towbar and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bronson misses the shot to the body.

Bronson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Bronson cracks koch with a big elbow.
koch is not content to let Bronson control the position.
Bronson in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Bronson lands a nice forearm strike.
Bronson working the ground and pound but koch is defending the strikes.
Bronson cracks koch with a big right hand but koch just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bronson wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by koch, who protects the arm well.
Bronson slows the pace down.

koch tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Bronson cracks koch with a big elbow.
Bronson prevents koch from escaping the position.
koch looks gassed!
An elbow from Bronson crashes against the mat.
koch taking punishment in the form of punches.
Bronson misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Bronson is putting a hurting on koch here, landing some big shots from side control.
Bronson wants to lay and pray for a moment but koch keeps working.

koch is trying to maintain the position but Bronson is very close to passing his half guard.
Bronson working over koch with some ground and pound. koch looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Bronson slips a nice elbow through koch's hands, connecting with koch's forehead.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Bronson connects with a nice short shot to koch's temple.

Bronson decides to return to a standing position.
Bronson shoots in for a takedown but koch shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
koch is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Bronson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
No luck with that takedown attempt from koch.

koch gets caught flat footed, as Bronson shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bronson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

koch has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Bronson is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for koch.

Bronson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

What's Bronson going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Bronson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in koch's guard.

Charles Bronson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
koch wants to get back to his feet but Bronson is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Bronson connects with a couple of short punches.
Bronson wants to control from the top but koch keeps moving.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Bronson wants to get back to his feet but koch is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

koch decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
koch shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

koch wants to take a breather but Bronson is having none of it.
Bronson is controlling koch's trapped leg to prevent koch from advancing to side control.

koch takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
koch is looking to take a break and control but Bronson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Bronson is controlling koch's trapped leg to prevent koch from advancing to side control.
Bronson manages to get to full guard.
Bronson seems keen to control koch's posture.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kevin koch showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.



Bronson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Bronson lands in his opponent's guard.

Bronson is looking to work some ground and pound but koch has wrist control.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bronson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

koch has his feet on Bronson's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

Bronson shoots in for a takedown but koch shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Bronson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but koch avoids it really well and circles away.
koch tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bronson swivels and escapes.
Bronson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but koch was well out of range. Poor timing from Bronson.

koch is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Bronson knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Bronson gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

and koch decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Bronson's guard.

Bronson pulls koch in close to prevent any damage.
koch sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Bronson's guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
Kevin koch comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think koch has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
