The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maximillion misses with a straight left.
Maximillion defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Lilja.
Lilja shoots for a takedown but Maximillion saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Lilja shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Maximillion defends it nicely.
Randolph Maximillion has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David Lilja.
Maximillion looks for the body kick but Lilja saw that one coming.
Maximillion works over Lilja's head and body with a nice combination.
Lilja slips a jab and a cross from Maximillion.
Maximillion lands a left and a right that send Lilja crashing to the mat, dazed. Maximillion thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Lilja is rocked!
It looks like David Lilja has been cut.
Maximillion sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Lilja's defenses. It connects perfectly with Lilja's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
