Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Konji Yamaski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Heiko Pander (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Konji Yamaski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Heiko Pander! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yamaski clinches up with Pander and pushes him back against the cage. Yamaski tries to break free but Pander pushes him back against the cage. Yamaski can't get the takedown.
A head punch on the inside from Yamaski fails to land. Pander changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Yamaski fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Pander displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Yamaski. Pander misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Pander moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Yamaski throws a right hand that Pander ducks under and follows up with a left that Pander also avoids with ease. Pander throws a nice looking combination but Yamaski bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Pander misses with a wild body shot. Pander feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Yamaski keeping moving, preventing Pander from controlling successfully. Pander tries to free his leg and advance position but Yamaski is retaining full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yamaski is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Pander is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Pander is looking to advance position but Yamaski has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Pander can do anything to dispel that myth. Yamaski avoids the attempt from Pander to control. Yamaski punching from mount but Pander doing a good job of avoiding damage. Yamaski throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Pander because Yamaski loaded up on that one.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Pander holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Yamaski tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Pander is squirming around, avoiding Yamaski's attempts to control the action. Pander is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Yamaski sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Yamaski can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Pander is looking to escape. Pander wants to control but Yamaski is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Yamaski is breathing heavily. Pander holds on for dear life. Yamaski jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Pander is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Pander and Yamaski has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Pander keeping his opponent close. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Heiko Pander dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Pander throws a series of punches but Yamaski moves out of range. Yamaski moves in looking to clinch but Pander pushes him off. Yamaski is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Yamaski tries to bum rush Pander with a series of wild strikes but Pander uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Yamaski tries to clinch but Pander is having none of it. Pander lands a jab-cross combination. Yamaski gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Pander counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Yamaski's guard now. Pander landing some decent shots from guard. Yamaski wants to stand but Pander is controlling the position. Pander trying to control but Yamaski is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Pander advances position into side control! Pander tries to move to mount but Yamaski blocks the move with his legs. Pander is looking to take a break and control but Yamaski is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Pander cracks Yamaski with an elbow. That is naaassty. Pander connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Yamaski some visible discomfort.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pander looks up at the clock and then as Yamaski takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Pander smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Yamaski takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pander content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Pander working the head with strikes. Pander looks up at the clock and then as Yamaski takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Pander smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Pander connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Yamaski some visible discomfort.

Yamaski takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Pander is putting a hurting on Yamaski here, landing some big shots from side control. Yamaski is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Pander scores with a couple of short elbows. Pander works to advance to full mount. Yamaski defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Pander dominating with strikes here. Pander tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Pander lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Heiko Pander showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Heiko Pander has got the better of the ground game so far. Pander lands a few punches from side control. Pander is looking to take a break and control but Yamaski is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Pander controlling the position. Yamaski is not content to let Pander control the position. Pander is putting a hurting on Yamaski here, landing some big shots from side control. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yamaski takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Yamaski can't do much from the bottom here. Pander working the head and body with strikes. Pander looks up at the clock and then as Yamaski takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Pander smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Yamaski is trying to control Pander's posture but Pander avoids it. Pander lands an elbow. Yamaski tries to improve position but can't. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Check out the look on Pander's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Pander cracks Yamaski with a big elbow. Pander lands a decent elbow from side control. Pander is staying tight to Yamaski's torso, preventing him from escaping.

Despite being in the dominant position, Heiko Pander just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Pander ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Yamaski moves away. Pander misses with the combination.
Yamaski takes one to the side of the head.
Pander lands a two punch combo.
Pander shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Yamaski punching from the bottom.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Pander takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Pander is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Yamaski won't allow Pander to pass to mount. Pander seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Pander working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Pander tries to pass to full mount but Yamaski defends it. Konji Yamaski has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Heiko Pander is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Pander controlling the action here.
And that's the end of the fight! Heiko Pander comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Pander winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
