Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Willie Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and shaun london (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wallace has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. shaun london has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Willie Wallace!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, shaun london!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Damien Edna and Donatello Bradman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
london ducks right into an uppercut from Wallace.
london looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
london shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Wallace as he jumps to the side.

Wallace drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
london takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Wallace is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. london knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
london on the wrong end of some ground and pound.

Wallace has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

london changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Wallace tries to avoid it but london manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Wallace to the ground. Wallace escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

london shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Wallace lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but london circles away quickly and effectively.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Wallace could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
london changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Wallace tries to avoid it but london manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Wallace to the ground. Wallace escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

london got a little sloppy there for a moment and Wallace has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, london has managed to get both his arms back between Wallace's legs - danger averted.
Wallace has a closed guard, preventing london from standing up.

Wallace escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. london gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
london wants to pass the guard but Wallace is keeping the position.

Wallace is working an open guard so london takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

london tries to close the distance and clinch but Wallace swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Wallace moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Wallace!

london has taken the fight to the clinch.
london lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Wallace jumps guard but london stands there with Wallace around his waist. Wallace gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Wallace tries to bum rush london with a series of wild strikes but london uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Wallace fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. london sprawls well initially but Wallace persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Wallace seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Wallace is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and london defends it well.

Wallace misses with a head shot. london uses the momentum to regain guard.
Wallace slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

london tries to buck Wallace off but Wallace is having none of it.

Wallace will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Wallace looks up at the clock and then as london takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Wallace smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
london is trying to improve his position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Wallace moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

london scores a takedown into full mount!
Wallace is trying desperately to improve position.

london is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Wallace can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Wallace is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Willie Wallace overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
BOOM! london connects with a massive shot to the dome!
A nice elbow there by london.
shaun london has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Wallace wants to control but london is having none of it.

london is working for a guillotine from mount but Wallace frees his head quite easily.

london has hold of Wallace's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Wallace manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

shaun london comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Wallace has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
