Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Alexander (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Norman Bates (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bates has chosen Hmmm... Interesting... as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bates might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Alexander is looking to wear down Bates with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Alexander throws a low kick but it's checked well by Bates.

Bates looks to land a left hand but Alexander moved out of range nicely.
Alexander throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bates fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Bates throws a shot from downtown. Alexander moves away and avoids it.
Bates on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
A punch lands to the side of Alexander 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Alexander throws a nice looking combination but Bates bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Bates gets cracked there but stands up to it.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Bates throws the left hand but Alexander avoids the punch easily.
Oh Alexander is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Alexander looks up at the clock. Bad move! Bates lands a right hand from hell, dropping Alexander. Bates pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:09 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Norman Bates!
