Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jacob King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andre Coimbra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Coimbra comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Till i collapse kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Andre Coimbra! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Matheus Silva and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Coimbra tries to land a leg kick but King saw it coming and moves away.
Coimbra lands a body shot.
Coimbra looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. King swats away the attempt to clinch by Coimbra. Coimbra misses with a series of wild punches.
Coimbra throws a right and a left that King avoids nicely. King checks a leg kick nicely. King uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Coimbra.
An inside leg kick lands from Coimbra. Coimbra throws a nice looking combination but King bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Coimbra gets caught flat footed, as King shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. King wants to control from the top but Coimbra keeps moving. King is really struggling to control Coimbra but he's trying to hold on to the position. King sitting in guard here, content to control.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Coimbra tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. King avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Coimbra is looking to stand up but King isn't so interested in that idea. King tries to free his leg and advance position but Coimbra is retaining full guard. Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Coimbra waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract King. King shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Coimbra's guard. King wants to control from the top but Coimbra keeps moving. King sitting in guard here, content to control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Coimbra wants to stand but King is controlling the position. Coimbra looks gassed! King controls the pace of the fight for a moment. King stops Coimbra from standing up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. King lands a couple of digs. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. King trying to control but Coimbra is working from the bottom. King with a nice head shot there. King slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. King chips away with some ground and pound. King controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Coimbra keeping moving, preventing King from controlling successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

King throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Coimbra was covering up waiting for the punch and King finishes the takedown easily into guard. King trying to control the position from guard on top but Coimbra is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. King working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Coimbra's head. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Coimbra is looking to stand up but King isn't so interested in that idea. Coimbra is breathing heavily. King trying to control the position from guard on top but Coimbra is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. King seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. King postures up and lands a big shot to Coimbra's brow.

King trying to control the position from guard on top but Coimbra is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. King showing good wrestling skills to control the position. King landing with the ground and pound. King trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. King scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Coimbra should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. King wants to control from the top but Coimbra keeps moving.

That's three minutes gone in the round. King swats away the attempt to clinch by Coimbra. King keeps the fight on the outside. King dodges the punch combination from Coimbra.
King checks the leg kick. King shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than King was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! King is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Coimbra can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Jacob King dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
King throws a head kick but Coimbra moves out of range.
King misses with an uppercut. Coimbra shoots and misses and King counters with a nice double leg into guard. King is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. King's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Andre Coimbra seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Coimbra tries to grapple but his opponent circles and King counters with a single leg into guard. Coimbra didn't expect that. Coimbra takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. King postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. King wants to control from the top but Coimbra keeps moving. King has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. King advances position into side control!

And that's the end of the fight! Jacob King showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for King, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
