Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Felix Sturm!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Igor Prikhodko and Illya Tyunina.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sturm avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Pandaw is pressed up against the cage. Sturm has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Pandaw down to the mat. Pandaw avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Pruaduk Pandaw has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Felix Sturm.
Pandaw is looking to clinch but Sturm is avoiding it.

and Sturm counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Sturm.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Pandaw is breathing heavily.
Pandaw is looking to stand up but Sturm isn't so interested in that idea.

Pandaw wants to stand up but Sturm is controlling him.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

and Sturm counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Pandaw has his feet on Sturm's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Pandaw looks to clinch

and Sturm counters with a nice double leg into side control. Pandaw won't be happy with that.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Pandaw wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Sturm grinds an elbow into Pandaw's temple.
Pandaw parries the strikes from Sturm easily there. Sturm is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Pandaw to escape.
Sturm misses with an attempted head punch from side control.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Pandaw avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Sturm.
Sturm has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Pandaw!

Sturm throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
The referee warns Pandaw that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Pandaw holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Sturm tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Felix Sturm showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Pruaduk Pandaw seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Sturm counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Pandaw!

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Sturm cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Sturm wants to control the pace but Pandaw is squirming around nicely.

Felix Sturm comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Sturm winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
