Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kikkeli Kalle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Winston Blau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kikkeli Kalle could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Winston Blau's chin.

The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Daniel Bishop and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blau with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Kalle looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Kalle shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Blau as he jumps to the side.

Blau will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Kalle shoots in looking for a takedown. Blau tries to sprawl out of it but Kalle keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Blau manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kikkeli Kalle. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Blau misses with a head kick.

Blau looks to land a body kick but Kalle moved away.

Blau connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Blau will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Kalle displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Blau throws out the jab.

Kalle closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kalle is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Blau is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Blau struggling a bit here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Blau tries to escape but Kalle is in control.
Kalle tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Kalle is trying to move to mount but Blau reverses beautifully and ends up in Kalle's guard.
Kalle escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Blau gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Blau wants to control from the top but Kalle keeps moving.
Kalle is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Blau slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Kalle looking for a sweep. Not yet Kalle, not yet.
Blau is looking to stand up but Kalle won't let him.
Blau postures up.
Kalle escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Blau gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Blau wants to stand but Kalle is controlling his posture from full guard.
Kalle tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Kalle shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Blau as he avoids it easily.
No joy there for Blau, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Blau just misses with a punch to the body.
Kalle shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Blau is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Kalle passes Blau's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Kalle looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Blau is defending against the submission attempts here by Kalle.
Blau is trying to stand.
Kalle working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Blau's thigh. Blau counters though and makes it back to full guard.
Blau really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kalle. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Blau can't keep his opponent in guard - Kalle advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Blau wants to improve his position but Kalle is controlling well.
Blau is looking to escape.
Blau wants to get back to full guard.
Blau wants to control but Kalle is keeping busy.
Blau tries to get to full guard but Kalle has control of the leg.
Kalle is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Blau tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Winston Blau is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Blau feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Kalle's calf.

Blau looks for the body kick but Kalle saw that one coming.
Kalle shoots in and drives through. Blau sprawls well.
Blau misses with a few strikes there.
Blau throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kalle fails with the takedown.
A punch lands to the side of Kalle 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Kalle shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Blau's guard.
Kalle tries to free his leg and advance position but Blau is retaining full guard.
Blau wants to stand and escape but Kalle is having none of it.
Kalle looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Blau is looking for a triangle but Kalle pushes his legs off easily.

Kalle drops back, looking for a kneebar! Blau looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Blau looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Blau!
Kalle is looking for a sweep.
Kalle trying his best to control but Blau has mounted him.

Blau get's back to his feet.
Kalle shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Blau as he jumps to the side.
Blau pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Kalle shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Blau defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Kalle.
Kalle working for a submission but Blau is keeping him at bay.

Blau tries to reverse the position but Kalle maintains control.
You get the feeling that Blau really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Kalle is working to isolate an arm here. It's a choreographed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Kalle extends the arm and Blau is forced to tap!
