Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Phil Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harold Nevland (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Phil Davis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Harold Nevland! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Davis takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Nevland fails in his attempt to clinch. Nevland avoids the head kick by Davis.
Nevland tries to score a power double leg takedown but Davis sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Nevland somewhat. The fight stays on the outside here - Nevland looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Davis moves into the clinch. Nevland drops down looking for an ankle pick but Davis pulls his leg out and moves away.
Davis tries to keep at a distance but Nevland has taken the fight into the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nevland looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Nevland wants to break the clinch but can't.
Nevland jumps guard but Davis stands there with Nevland around his waist. Nevland gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Phil Davis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Harold Nevland. Nevland tries to pull guard but Davis won't allow it.
Davis utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Davis's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
That's one minute gone in the round. Davis defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Nevland. Nevland changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Davis tries to avoid it but Nevland manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Davis to the ground. Davis escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Nevland looks gassed! Davis closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Nevland to the mat! Nevland manages to get full guard. Davis slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Davis keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Nevland's head. Davis is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Nevland thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Davis is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Nevland really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Davis. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Davis advances to half guard. Davis passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Nevland! Nevland is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Davis content just to control the position here. Nevland in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Davis has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Nevland's face.
Davis will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Davis lands a nice shot to the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Davis postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Nevland looks a forlorn figure.
Nevland is rocked! Davis lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Nevland! Davis sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Nevland and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Phil Davis!
