Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dom Killa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nathan Roberts! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A nice inside leg kick there by Killa. That's going to slow Roberts down. Roberts looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Roberts checks the leg kick nicely there.
Killa throws a quick inside leg kick. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Killa.
Killa fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Roberts. Killa has Roberts up against the cage in a clinch.
The referee is keeping an eye on Killa - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Killa misses with a knee to the head. Killa slowing the pace effectively. Killa missing with knees to the body.
Roberts tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Killa manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Dom Killa. Killa pushes Roberts up against the cage in a clinch. Killa wants the takedown. Roberts is fighting it off but Killa persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Roberts's guard against the cage. Killa wants to control from the top but Roberts keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Killa pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Roberts is keeping the position for now. Killa trying to control but Roberts is working from the bottom.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Killa is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Roberts's half guard. Killa seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Roberts does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dom Killa dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Killa lets loose with a powerful body kick. Roberts will feel that in the morning. Roberts chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Killa can pounce on him.
Killa cracks the inside of Roberts's front leg. Crunch! Killa slams his shin into Roberts's torso. Roberts tries to keep at a distance but Killa has taken the fight into the clinch. Killa is trying to trip Roberts. He has hold of a leg but Roberts is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Killa persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Killa stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Roberts swivels though and keeps the full guard. Killa wants to control from the top but Roberts keeps moving. Roberts is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Killa postures up in Roberts's guard and throws a big left but Roberts blocks it. Killa looking to pass the guard. Killa trying to control but Roberts is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Killa pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Roberts is keeping the position for now. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Killa is working hard here to advance position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Killa throws a nice outside leg kick. Killa lands with a slapping head kick. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Killa. Roberts shrugs it off though. Killa throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Roberts was covering up waiting for the punch and Killa finishes the takedown easily into guard. Killa trying to control the position from guard on top but Roberts is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Killa controlling from the top position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Killa tries to land a front kick but Roberts steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. A good leg kick by Killa. Killa explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Killa throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Killa pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Roberts takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. A leg kick checked by Roberts. Killa chopping away at his opponent's legs.

That's one minute gone in the round. Killa throws a nice inside leg kick. Roberts takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Roberts takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Killa throws a half hearted mid kick. Killa throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Killa fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Roberts. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Killa. Killa thows a body kick. Roberts tries to catch it but that hurt him. Roberts's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. A slapping leg kick lands for Killa.
Dom Killa is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A decent looking body kick lands there for Killa. Killa delivers a nice body kick. Killa lands with a thumping leg kick.
A nice leg kick lands there from Killa. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Killa lands a nice looking body kick. Killa throws a front kick that sends Roberts stumbling back into the cage. Killa keeps Roberts at a distance using the push kick. Roberts is the more experienced fighter here and he's going to need to draw on some of that experience if he's going to pull this one out the bag. Killa misses with a kick to the body.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Killa is looking to slow Roberts down with leg kicks. Dom Killa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Killa is looking to land body kicks. Killa moves into the clinch. Killa tries to land a knee to the head but Roberts blocks with his arms.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Killa. Nathan Roberts has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Dom Killa is winning the standup battle so far. Roberts stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Killa.
And that's the end of the fight! Dom Killa showed his dominance in that final round. Well Killa has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
