PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adam Korniak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leonard Wolfe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wolfe has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Leonard Wolfe is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Korniak closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Korniak doesn't manage to clinch there - Wolfe circles away.
Wolfe fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Wolfe keeps the fight on the outside.
Korniak throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Wolfe's waist but Wolfe gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Korniak off to one side.
Korniak shoots for a double leg takedown but Wolfe sprawls well. He's pushed Korniak's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Korniak feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
