Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Henrique Nunes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boof Baff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baff throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Nunes's waist but Nunes gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Baff off to one side.
Baff tries to close the distance and clinch but Nunes swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Nunes drives through with a takedown into guard.
Nunes stopping the sweep attempt from Baff.
Baff can't keep his opponent in guard - Nunes advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Nunes wants to lay and pray for a moment but Baff keeps working.

Nunes is trying to work for a kimura but Baff is defending well.
Baff is trying to stand back up but Nunes is controlling him

Nunes wants to work for an arm triangle but Baff is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Nunes is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Baff is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Nunes jumps into side control!
Baff tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Nunes wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Nunes working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Nunes is breathing heavily.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Baff tries to bench press Nunes off him but Nunes keeps the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Baff is defending against the submission attempts here by Nunes.
Baff wants to improve his position but Nunes is controlling well.

Baff really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nunes. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Baff shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Nunes as he jumps to the side.

Nunes fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Baff, pushing him back against the cage.

Nunes successfully pulls guard.
Baff tries to free his leg and advance position but Nunes is retaining full guard.

Baff avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Nunes is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nunes tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Baff wants to get up but he can't break Nunes's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Nunes keeping moving, preventing Baff from controlling successfully.

Nunes working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Baff doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Baff manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Baff is posturing up here but Nunes has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Baff tries to roll out but it's too tight and Baff has to tap! Slick submission there by Nunes!
