Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Grey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Redof Castro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Grey comes to the cage accompanied by Roots Bloody Roots - Sepultura. Redof Castro has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Paul Grey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Redof Castro! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Colin Fotheringham and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Grey stuffs the takedown attempt from Castro. Castro gets slowly back to his feet. Grey leaves Castro with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Castro gets the takedown into side control. Castro working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Grey wants to control but Castro postures up. Castro trying to control the action but Grey is working from the bottom. Castro tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Castro has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Grey is looking to regain half guard here but Castro keeps moving and retains side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Castro working away. Grey is trying to improve his position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Castro shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Castro was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Grey is working to get back to half guard.

Castro is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Grey has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Redof Castro dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Castro gets in close and instigates a clinch. Castro gets control of Grey's arms and successfully pulls guard. Castro will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Castro trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Castro had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Grey defends it easily. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Grey with a flurry of punches that miss. Castro controls Grey momentarily but Grey frees himself. Castro looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Grey scoring with some ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Castro looking for a sweep. Not yet Castro, not yet. Castro is breathing heavily. Grey throws a big right hand that misses. Grey pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Castro is keeping the position for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Grey thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Castro had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Grey fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Castro is out of range. Grey connects with a high kick.
It looks like Redof Castro has been cut. No joy there for Castro, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Grey tries to clinch but Castro is having none of it. Castro drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Grey tries to land a sweep but no joy. Castro tries to stand but Grey is controlling from the bottom. Grey wants to stand but Castro is controlling the position. Grey working a defensive guard here.
Grey kicks Castro off and gets to his feet. Grey thows a body shot but no joy. Grey throws the left hand but Castro avoids the punch easily. Castro closes the distance and lands a one-two. Paul Grey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Castro swinging wildly here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Castro shoots in looking for a takedown. Grey tries to sprawl out of it but Castro keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Grey manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Grey pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Grey buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Grey connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Grey misses with an uppercut. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! A decent looking body kick lands there for Grey. Grey lands a nice looking body shot.
Grey throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Grey lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Nice body kick there by Grey. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Grey throws a push kick but Castro slaps the foot to one side. Grey cracks the inside of Castro's front leg. Castro bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Castro moves out of range of the body kick. Grey connects with a body shot. Grey scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Grey lands with an overhand left. Grey scores with a head kick.
Grey keeps the fight on the outside. Grey throws a push kick but Castro slaps the foot to one side. Castro drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Grey is looking to regain half guard here but Castro keeps moving and retains side control. Castro tries for a kimura but Grey is defending well. Grey can't do much from the bottom here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Grey tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Castro wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Grey tries to work over Castro's front leg with a kick but Castro checks it. Castro shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Grey manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Castro drops back looking for a leg! Grey is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Grey manages to kick Castro off! Castro jumps back into Grey's guard. Grey lands some strikes from the bottom. Grey is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Grey is figuring out what he wants to do next. Castro is trying to maintain the position but Grey is very close to passing his half guard. Castro keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Grey thows a huge punch but Castro dodges it nicely.
Redof Castro has got the better of the ground game so far. Grey seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Grey is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Grey stands up and beckons Castro to join him on the feet. Grey throws a head kick but Castro moves out of range.

Castro shoots in but no luck this time. Grey doesn't manage to clinch there - Castro circles away.

Paul Grey has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Redof Castro. A decent looking cross lands there for Grey. Grey keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Grey scores with a spinning back kick! Castro clinches but Grey breaks the clinch and Grey counters with a low kick, right behind Castro 's knee. Grey closes the distance and lands a one-two. Paul Grey is winning the standup battle so far. Grey throws a jab but it's blocked by Castro. A left and a right from Grey both land. Nice combination. Grey tries to close the distance and clinch but Castro swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Paul Grey is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Grey throws a sloppy head kick and Castro moves out of range easily. Grey misses with a body shot.
Grey throws a low kick but Castro avoids it. Castro will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. A big right from Grey misses. Grey throws a head kick that misses. Grey slaps away a takedown attempt from Castro, before circling back to the center of the mat. Grey misses with a straight left. Grey swings away with a leg kick that misses.

Paul Grey is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A punch combination from Grey misses. Castro avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Castro shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Grey's guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Grey looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Grey keeping moving, preventing Castro from controlling successfully. Castro missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Grey wants to hit a switch here but Castro passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Grey there! Castro tries to control but Grey wriggling away.
