Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Layne Staley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Didier Drogba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Staley comes to the cage accompanied by Alice in Chains - No Excuses. Drogba has chosen Oh Father by Pastor Troy as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Colin Fotheringham and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Staley throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Staley lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Drogba backs up against the cage.
Drogba looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Drogba throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Drogba avoids a punch combination nicely.
Drogba throws a head kick but Staley moves out of range.
Drogba throws a leg kick but Staley moved away.

A clash of legs there as Staley blocks the low kick.
Staley closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Drogba to the mat! Drogba manages to get full guard.
Drogba is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Staley might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Staley works over Drogba with some ground and pound from guard.

Staley trying to control the position from guard on top but Drogba is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Staley throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Drogba can't keep his opponent in guard - Staley advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Staley landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

Staley throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Staley has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Staley cracks Drogba with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Staley landing punches.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Staley lands a big shot to the head and Drogba winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
