Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between JC Dos Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oscar King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, JC Dos Santos! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Oscar King! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dos Santos shoots in and drives through. King sprawls well. JC Dos Santos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. King lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by King.
It looks like JC Dos Santos has been cut. Dos Santos misses the shot to the body. Dos Santos throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. King was covering up waiting for the punch and Dos Santos finishes the takedown easily into guard. Dos Santos thows a big elbow that misses. King utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. King working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Dos Santos. King wants to stand but Dos Santos is controlling the position. Dos Santos thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. King looking to hit a scissor sweep but Dos Santos is one step ahead there. Dos Santos drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but King manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Dos Santos has King in his guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. King won't allow Dos Santos to sweep him here.
That's one minute gone in the round. King pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Dos Santos is keeping the position for now. King would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Dos Santos has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. King preventing the sweep. Dos Santos has his foot on King's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. King works his way back into a safe position though. King stopping the sweep attempt from Dos Santos. King with a flurry of punches that miss. King really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dos Santos. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. King working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hammerfist, elbow! yells King's corner. There ya go! There ya go! King looking to pass the guard. King has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Dos Santos is proving hard to escape from. King must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dos Santos throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Ground and pound from Dos Santos. Dos Santos is breathing heavily. King is looking to improve his position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. King clinches up with Dos Santos and pushes him back against the cage. King stops a takedown attempt from Dos Santos.
King escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
King stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and King wants it to stay on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for JC Dos Santos. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dos Santos tries to keep at a distance but King has taken the fight into the clinch. King gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Dos Santos.
King jumps guard and drags Dos Santos to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Dos Santos trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. King working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Dos Santos. Dos Santos stops King from standing up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. King pushes Dos Santos off and gets back to his feet.
Nice takedown defense from King. No joy for Dos Santos on that attempt. King with a body punch. A glancing blow. Dos Santos shoots in for a double leg but King sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. King uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Dos Santos has time to react. King lands a jab-cross combination. This has been an exciting period of action! King tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. King works over Dos Santos's head and body with a nice combination. King throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
JC Dos Santos's cut is getting worse. King gets in close and instigates a clinch. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. King's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Dos Santos is working for takedown but King is calmly controlling the position for now. King pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Oscar King dominated that round. The cut man is working on JC Dos Santos's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
King bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Dos Santos's head backwards. King gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. King gets a trip takedown into half guard. Dos Santos is looking for a sweep. King is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Dos Santos looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Dos Santos gets full guard. Dos Santos is looking to sinch up a triangle. King throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Dos Santos's body to avoid the submission. Dos Santos has instead reached around King's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Dos Santos arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). JC Dos Santos!
