Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Rameiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hans Tarrasch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rameiro comes to the cage accompanied by Go to Ring. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Carlos Rameiro! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hans Tarrasch! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Albert Achterberg and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Tarrasch lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Rameiro has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Rameiro and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Tarrasch tries to score a power double leg takedown but Rameiro sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tarrasch somewhat. Rameiro is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Tarrasch looks to clinch and Rameiro counters with a nice double leg into guard. Tarrasch thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Tarrasch holds on and takes a little breather. Tarrasch throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Rameiro postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Tarrasch trying to control the position.
Tarrasch manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Tarrasch avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tarrasch closes the distance but Rameiro moves to the side and Rameiro counters with a lovely straight right hand! Tarrasch gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Rameiro counters with a nice double leg into side control. Tarrasch won't be happy with that. Tarrasch gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Tarrasch wants to control but Rameiro is keeping busy.
Rameiro escapes and gets back to his feet. Tarrasch shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Rameiro counters by moving into the clinch. Carlos Rameiro has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hans Tarrasch. Tarrasch wants to break the clinch but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rameiro manages to pull guard.
Rameiro pushes Tarrasch off and gets back to his feet.
Tarrasch clinches but Rameiro breaks the clinch and Rameiro counters with a nice double leg into half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rameiro is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Rameiro looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Tarrasch with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Tarrasch is trying to maintain the position but Rameiro is very close to passing his half guard. Tarrasch looks gassed! Rameiro looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Rameiro escapes and gets back to his feet. Tarrasch with a lazy takedown attempt and Rameiro moves into the clinch. Rameiro tries to pull guard but Tarrasch holds him up against the cage and eventually Rameiro drops back down to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tarrasch can't break the clinch.
Rameiro pulls guard. Tarrasch wants to stand and escape but instead Rameiro has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Rameiro postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Rameiro wants to control from the top but Tarrasch keeps moving. Tarrasch looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Rameiro drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Rameiro seems to have locked his on tight now - Tarrasch screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Rameiro, as he picks up the win!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Carlos Rameiro!
