Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Dominic Taylor! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Harold Sumrall! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Paul Tew and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sumrall dodges the punch combination from Taylor.
Taylor feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Taylor has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Taylor throwing strikes from guard but Sumrall blocks nicely. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Taylor with a nice head shot there. Sumrall avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Sumrall wants to sweep here but Taylor controlling him for the moment. Taylor wants to pass the guard but Sumrall is keeping the position. Taylor controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Sumrall throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Taylor will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Taylor displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Sumrall with a poor takedown and Taylor counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Sumrall is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round. Taylor working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Sumrall is still in real trouble! Can Taylor finish him? Taylor is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Taylor is trying to work for a kimura but Sumrall is defending well.

Sumrall is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Taylor scores with a couple of nice shots. Sumrall looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Taylor is nestled in close to Sumrall, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Taylor lands a nice short elbow. Sumrall is looking to improve his position.

Sumrall crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
