Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Larry David!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Prokhor Stalevarov!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Daniel Blasius and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from David.
David moves into the clinch.
David lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Stalevarov drops to a knee looking for a takedown but David gets the underhooks and prevents it.
David has had enough of the clinch but Stalevarov keeps him there for the moment.
David breaks the clinch.
Stalevarov shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts David as he jumps to the side.
Stalevarov ducks straight into an uppercut from David and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Stalevarov manages to regain guard straight away.
Stalevarov is rocked!
It looks like Prokhor Stalevarov has been cut.
Stalevarov wants to get back to his feet but David is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
David has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Stalevarov is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
David escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
David swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Look low, kick high! David uses the oldest trick in the book to send Stalevarov tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! David is absolutely delighted - when Stalevarov wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
