The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Daniel Franklin and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
kope gets the takedown into side control.
kope lands a nice forearm strike.
It looks like Ron Walters has been cut.
The referee asks kope politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. kope prefers to stall for the moment though.
kope is looking to take a break and control but Walters is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

kope is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Walters is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Walters really doesn't want to stay on the ground with kope. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
