Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Dumonte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Micheals (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Micheals comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Clint Eastwood kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Frank Micheals!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Alec Ball and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dumonte throws out a leg kick but Micheals moves out of range and Dumonte only half commits.
Dumonte goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Micheals takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Micheals takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Dumonte scores with a jab.
Micheals throws a head kick that misses.
A head kick misses from Micheals.
Micheals rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dumonte moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Dumonte cracks Micheals with an open hand slap.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Micheals ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dumonte moves away.
Dumonte lands a head shot.
Micheals takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Micheals tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Micheals looks gassed!
Micheals on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Dumonte bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Micheals throws a sloppy head kick
and Dumonte counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Micheals throws a lazy head kick
and Dumonte counters with a crisp right hand that drops Micheals! Dumonte lets Micheals back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Micheals is rocked!
Dumonte dances in with a quick combination. Micheals is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Dumonte snaps Micheals's head back. Micheals stumbles backwards against the cage. Dumonte steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Micheals's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Micheals just didn't come prepared.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Paul Dumonte!
