Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eric Scribner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dante Wolfgang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eric Scribner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dante Wolfgang! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wolfgang scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Wolfgang works to advance to full mount. Scribner defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Scribner is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Wolfgang swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Scribner is now in Wolfgang's guard. A big mistake from Wolfgang there, giving up the dominant position! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wolfgang has a closed guard, preventing Scribner from standing up. Scribner stands up and waves to Wolfgang to follow him. Scribner tries to clinch up. Nice defenses there by Scribner. Eric Scribner is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Scribner avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Wolfgang blocks a head kick by Scribner.
Wolfgang tries to clinch but Scribner moves out of range. Scribner displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Wolfgang throws out the jab. Wolfgang tries to clinch but Scribner moves out of range. Scribner keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Wolfgang forces Scribner back against the cage and clinches. Wolfgang gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
It looks like Eric Scribner has been cut. Scribner wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Wolfgang has him pressed against the cage. Wolfgang manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Scribner wants to stand but Wolfgang is controlling his posture from full guard. Scribner wants to stand and escape but instead Wolfgang has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Wolfgang throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Scribner works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Wolfgang advances position into side control! Scribner taking punishment in the form of punches.
Wolfgang laying and praying for a moment but Scribner takes advantage and regains half guard. Wolfgang trying to pass the guard but Scribner defending well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Scribner wants to get back to his feet.
Wolfgang is stalling here. Scribner is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Wolfgang seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Scribner has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Wolfgang can't do much from the bottom here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Scribner wants to stand but Wolfgang has his arm trapped. Wolfgang is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Scribner's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Scribner tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Wolfgang moves into full guard.
Scribner wants to stand but Wolfgang has a closed guard, so he can't escape. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Wolfgang wants to sweep but no luck. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dante Wolfgang dominated that round. The cut man is working on Eric Scribner's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Scribner stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Eric Scribner is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Scribner misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Scribner throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Wolfgang shoots in looking for a takedown. Scribner tries to sprawl out of it but Wolfgang keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Scribner manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Wolfgang feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Scribner's calf.
That's one minute gone in the round. Scribner throws a sloppy head kick and Wolfgang moves out of range easily. Wolfgang buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Wolfgang moves in looking to clinch but Scribner pushes him off. The fight moves into the clinch position. Wolfgang scores with a knee to the head.
Wolfgang lands a knee to the body.
Wolfgang wants a takedown.
Wolfgang tries to pull guard but Scribner holds him up against the cage and eventually Wolfgang drops back down to his feet.
Eric Scribner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dante Wolfgang. Scribner wants to get back to striking at distance but Wolfgang won't allow it.
Scribner has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Wolfgang landing knees to the body.
Wolfgang prevents Scribner from breaking the clinch. Scribner pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Nice shot by Wolfgang. Wolfgang steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Scribner. Scribner swings and misses with a shot to the body and Wolfgang counters with a nice double leg into guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wolfgang is pushing down on Scribner's leg trying to pass to half guard. Scribner is fighting to maintain full guard but Wolfgang has managed to sneak the leg through. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Wolfgang has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Scribner defend it? Wolfgang steps over the head and cranks it - Scribner is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Wolfgang!
