Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Scott Damoza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Caleb Emmanuel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Caleb Emmanuel has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Scott Damoza! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Caleb Emmanuel! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Colin Fotheringham and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Damoza gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Emmanuel to score an easy takedown into full guard. Damoza keeping moving, preventing Emmanuel from controlling successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Damoza is working an open guard so Emmanuel takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Damoza misses with a takedown and Emmanuel counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Emmanuel trying to control the pace. Emmanuel wants to work for an arm triangle but Damoza is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Emmanuel is taking a breather. Damoza says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Emmanuel seems to be looking for submissions.
Damoza knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Emmanuel on the ground. Emmanuel trying to control the action but Damoza is working from the bottom. Damoza keeps control of the position for the meantime. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Damoza tries to roll over but Emmanuel keeps him under control. Emmanuel decides to stand up. Damoza throws a shot from downtown. Emmanuel moves away and avoids it. Some wild striking there from Emmanuel.
Scott Damoza seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Damoza misses with a takedown and Emmanuel counters with a nice double leg into side control. Damoza won't be happy with that. Emmanuel remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Emmanuel is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Damoza is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Damoza on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Damoza tries to get out of the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Emmanuel advances to full mount. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Damoza's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Emmanuel stands up from mount. Strange move. Emmanuel closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Emmanuel is working for a kimura but Damoza is defending it quite comfortably.
Damoza really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Emmanuel trying to pass the guard but Damoza defending well. Damoza is breathing heavily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Emmanuel is looking for a kimura but Damoza is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Emmanuel to get the leverage. Emmanuel seems to be working for a kimura but Damoza defends the submission attempt. Damoza is trying to stand up here but Emmanuel is controlling him well. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Emmanuel decides to stand up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Caleb Emmanuel dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Damoza doesn't succeed with the takedown and Emmanuel counters with a shoot takedown. Damoza fights it but they end up in guard. Emmanuel's corner is telling him to maintain position. Emmanuel missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Emmanuel drops back looking for a leg! Damoza is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Damoza manages to kick Emmanuel off! Emmanuel jumps back into Damoza's guard. Damoza can't keep his opponent in guard - Emmanuel advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Emmanuel is working for a kimura but Damoza is defending it quite comfortably.
That's one minute gone in the round. Emmanuel decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. A big right from Damoza misses. Emmanuel scores with a nice right hand.
Emmanuel shoots in and bounces Damoza off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Emmanuel not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Emmanuel trying to control but Damoza is working from the bottom. Emmanuel drops back looking for a leg! Damoza is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Damoza manages to kick Emmanuel off! Emmanuel jumps back into Damoza's guard. Damoza keeping moving, preventing Emmanuel from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Caleb Emmanuel has got the better of the ground game so far. Emmanuel advances position into side control! Damoza is not content to let Emmanuel control the position. Damoza is trying to improve his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Emmanuel gets a takedown into half guard. Emmanuel is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Emmanuel trying to control but he's not successful this time. Emmanuel is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Damoza can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Caleb Emmanuel showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Damoza closes the distance and pushes Emmanuel back into the cage. Damoza drags the fight down to the ground.
Damoza wants to stand but Emmanuel is controlling the position. Emmanuel trying to control but Damoza is working from the bottom. Damoza is working an open guard so Emmanuel takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Damoza scores with a nice head shot. Emmanuel throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Damoza was covering up waiting for the punch and Emmanuel finishes the takedown easily into guard. Emmanuel trying to control but Damoza is working from the bottom. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Emmanuel slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Emmanuel postures up.
Damoza wants to sweep but no luck. Emmanuel thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Emmanuel postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Emmanuel thows a big elbow that misses. Emmanuel tries to free his leg and advance position but Damoza is retaining full guard.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Damoza forces Emmanuel back against the cage and clinches. Emmanuel wants to break the clinch but can't.
Damoza misses with the head strike.
Emmanuel blocking some punches.
A head punch on the inside from Damoza fails to land. Damoza looks to throw an elbow but misses. Emmanuel tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Damoza just stands there and leans against the cage. Emmanuel looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. A short left from Damoza. Emmanuel breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Emmanuel shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Damoza's guard. Emmanuel drops back looking for a leg! Damoza is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Damoza manages to kick Emmanuel off! Emmanuel jumps back into Damoza's guard.

Damoza wants to get back to his feet but Emmanuel is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Damoza trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Caleb Emmanuel is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Emmanuel is stalling in the full guard. Scott Damoza has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Damoza keeping full guard, as Emmanuel tries to pass. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Emmanuel's corner is telling him to maintain position.
And that's the end of the fight! Caleb Emmanuel comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Emmanuel winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
