Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Danny Drake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jolly Giant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Drake's entrance music is ACDC black ice - spoilin for a fight. A fine choice. Giant has chosen Jolly Green Giant - the Kingsmen as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Donatello Bradman and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circle momentarily. Giant darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Drake gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Drake turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Drake manages to end up in side control.
Drake throws an elbow but Giant slips to the side and avoids it well.
Giant pushes Drake away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Drake gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Drake misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Drake tries to score with some ground and pound. Giant controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Drake working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Giant controls Drake momentarily but Drake frees himself.
Drake throws and elbow that misses. Giant uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Drake's guard. Nice move by Giant!

Drake closes the distance and clinches up with Giant, looking for a takedown. Drake pushes Giant against the cage but Giant circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Giant wants to get up but he can't break Drake's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

That was a close second round but I would say that Danny Drake will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Giant takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Drake feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Drake, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
