The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smackiau throws a shot from downtown. Mickelson moves away and avoids it.
Mickelson doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Mickelson doesn't manage to clinch there - Smackiau circles away.
Mickelson avoids the body shot from Smackiau.
Mickelson shoots for a takedown but Smackiau saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Mickelson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Smackiau sprawls well. Smackiau wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Mickelson gets slowly back to his feet.
A nice combination there by Smackiau.

and Smackiau counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Smackiau digs a good hook to Mickelson's body.
Smackiau throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Mickelson colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Smackiau as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Mickelson is left battered and dazed whilst Smackiau and his camp cheer!
