Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tero Byte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexis Arguello (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Tero Byte has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tero Byte!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Alexis Arguello!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Roosa Järviläinen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arguello takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Arguello tries to land a leg kick but Byte saw it coming and moves away.
Arguello walks forward, straight into a front kick from Byte.
Arguello misses with a jab, cross combination.
Byte fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Byte thumps Arguello with a low kick.
Byte shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Byte was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Byte working for a submission but Arguello is keeping him at bay.

Arguello is trying desperately to improve position.
Byte trying to control but Arguello is having none of it.

Byte wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Arguello, who protects the arm well.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Arguello thuds his right hand into Byte's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Arguello closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Byte is breathing heavily.
Arguello is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Byte has escaped the position, nice work there.

Byte is staying active underneath Arguello, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Arguello does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Tero Byte seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Arguello throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Byte sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Arguello fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Byte looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Arguello throws a low kick but Byte avoids it.

That was a close round but I would say that Tero Byte will probably get the nod.

Arguello throws a right hand that Byte ducks under and follows up with a left that Byte also avoids with ease.
Arguello jabs Byte right on the nose. Byte blinks but takes it well.
Arguello throws a low kick but Byte avoids it.
Arguello shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Byte but Byte pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Byte lets loose with a powerful body kick. Arguello will feel that in the morning.
Byte scores with the left hand. Arguello knows he should have avoided that one.
Byte throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Byte looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Byte wants to lay and pray for a moment but Arguello keeps working.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Byte has gone for a leg lock! Arguello slips out almost immediately though and dives into Byte's guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

That was a close second round but I would say that Tero Byte will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

A combination from Arguello does no damage.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Arguello lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Byte has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Byte and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Byte moves in looking to clinch but Arguello pushes him off.
Byte blocks a leg kick.
Arguello throws a lazy right hand but Byte sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

and Byte counters with a nice double leg into side control. Arguello won't be happy with that.
Arguello is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Byte off and has taken his back!
Arguello throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Byte!
Arguello lands a shot to the head.
Arguello has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Byte has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Arguello scores with some strikes to the side of the head there. Good, points scoring shots.
Byte tries to break free.
Even with his hooks in, Arguello manages to miss with strikes from the back.
Arguello is working the back position looking for the choke. Oh, he's slid into an armbar! Beautiful transition and Byte taps out! Fantastic Jiu Jitsu from Arguello.
