The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dada shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Dada showed some decent athleticism there.
Dada wants to control but Penn is keeping him busy.

Dada is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Penn is just riding it out for now. Dada eventually gives up the hold.

Dada has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Penn is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Dada has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Penn. Oh but Dada has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Penn goes limp - he's gone! Dada jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
