Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Payne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Paua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paua has chosen Bomberpilot as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Payne misses.
Paua drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Paua scores with punches from side control.
Payne takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Paua stands up and beckons Payne to his feet.
Paua shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Payne but Payne pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Nice sprawl there from Payne as Paua shoots in.
Paua shoots in for a takedown but Payne shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
John Payne has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Max Paua.
Paua misses with a takedown attempt - Payne sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

A head kick lands from Payne that sends Paua to the canvas. Paua tries to scramble back to his feet but Payne brings him back down into side control.
Paua is rocked!
It looks like Max Paua has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Payne lands a strong strike to the head of Paua. That's dazed him! Payne looking to finish here. Paua is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Payne lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
