Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between muis jkd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Grzegorz Rakieta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Steven Brown and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
jkd slips a jab and a cross from Rakieta.
Rakieta fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Rakieta misses with a few strikes there.
jkd throws a left and a right that both miss
and Rakieta counters with a good low kick that jkd was not able to check.
jkd shoots for a takedown but Rakieta saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Grzegorz Rakieta seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

jkd shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Rakieta's guard.

jkd escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rakieta gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

jkd is breathing heavily.
jkd wants to sweep here but Rakieta controlling him for the moment.
Rakieta gets to his feet - jkd follows without any prompting.

jkd tries to get to his feet but Rakieta is in the middle of advancing position himself and ends up with jkd in his guard.

and Rakieta finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.

jkd is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Rakieta has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Rakieta!

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

jkd changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Rakieta looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
