Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Travis Back (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Mcrobb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Travis Back!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Daniel Mcrobb!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Atkins and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Back avoids the head kick by Mcrobb.
Back looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Mcrobb closes the distance and clinches.
Back prevents the takedown attempt.
Back being controlled against the cage.
Mcrobb fails to pull guard.
Back trying to land knees to the body.
Mcrobb jumps guard but Back stands there with Mcrobb around his waist. Mcrobb gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Travis Back has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daniel Mcrobb.
Mcrobb is trying to break the clinch but Back is controlling him.

Mcrobb pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Back gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Mcrobb to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Mcrobb wants to control from the top but Back keeps moving.

Mcrobb stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Mcrobb shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Back is trying to defend but Mcrobb finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Mcrobb decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

Ouch! a nice leg kick from Mcrobb, right into the meat.

Back gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Mcrobb slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Mcrobb's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Mcrobb trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Mcrobb stands up and waves to Back to follow him.
Travis Back seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Back takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Mcrobb.
Mcrobb content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

Mcrobb decides to stand up, so the ref orders Back to his feet.

Mcrobb clinches.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
The referee is keeping an eye on Mcrobb - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Mcrobb lands a knee to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



Mcrobb shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Back is trying to defend but Mcrobb finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Mcrobb decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

Mcrobb scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Mcrobb controls the position from side control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Back is not in a great position here, taking some shots.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Mcrobb stands up.

Mcrobb looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Back!
Mcrobb cracks Back with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Mcrobb is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!

Mcrobb clinches up with Back and pushes him back against the cage.
Back misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Mcrobb.
Mcrobb wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Mcrobb breaks from the clinch.

Mcrobb fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Back sprawls well initially but Mcrobb persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Mcrobb seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Daniel Mcrobb showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!



Mcrobb shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Mcrobb looking to control and managing it successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mcrobb lands a big elbow.

Mcrobb is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Back can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Mcrobb throws some wild stikes that Back manages to avoid easily.
Daniel Mcrobb has got the better of the ground game so far.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Back is bucking up trying to escape but Mcrobb cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Mcrobb cracks Back with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Mcrobb landing strikes from the mount and Back is in trouble!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Mcrobb sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Mcrobb lands a heavy elbow.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Mcrobb working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Mcrobb punching from mount but Back doing a good job of avoiding damage.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Travis Back has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Mcrobb looking for a guillotine from mount but Back is having none of it.

Daniel Mcrobb comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Mcrobb has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
