Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Skwisgaar Skwigelf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bret Hatton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Skwigelf comes to the cage accompanied by Bloodrocuted. Hatton is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Bret Hart theme. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hatton is trying hard to land a takedown here. Skwigelf sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Skwigelf throws a lazy right hand but Hatton sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Hatton shoots in for a double leg but Skwigelf sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Skwigelf lands with an uppercut that bounces Hatton off the cage and back into rage.

Hatton has gone for a leg lock! Skwigelf slips out almost immediately though and dives into Hatton's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Skwigelf is pushing down on Hatton's leg trying to pass to half guard. Hatton is fighting to maintain full guard but Skwigelf has managed to sneak the leg through.
Skwigelf seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Skwigelf, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
