Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mark Aces (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack The Final Line (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Final Line has chosen Sandstorm as his entrance music. Mark Aces has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jack The Final Line! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Dean Styles and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck for The Final Line with that takedown attempt. Aces throws a jab but it's blocked by The Final Line. The Final Line shoots in for a takedown but Aces shows good takedown defense. Aces fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Aces is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by The Final Line. Aces looks to land a combination but The Final Line avoids it well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Aces misses with a wild body shot. A combination from Aces does no damage. Aces looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Aces throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Aces thows a body shot but no joy. The Final Line shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Mark Aces has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack The Final Line.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Aces looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Aces stuffs the takedown. Aces fakes a jab and throws a low kick but The Final Line checks it well. Aces cracks The Final Line with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. A punch combination from Aces misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Aces thuds his right hand into The Final Line's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Mark Aces seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Aces fails to land with a series of punches.
The Final Line shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Aces sprawls well. Aces wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. The Final Line gets slowly back to his feet. The Final Line dodges the punch combination from Aces.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. The Final Line tries to score a power double leg takedown but Aces sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten The Final Line somewhat. Mark Aces is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Aces tries a head kick but it misses.

The Final Line staying out of range there. Aces lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but The Final Line circles away quickly and effectively. The Final Line ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Aces throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. Aces throws a sloppy head kick and The Final Line moves out of range easily. The Final Line slips a straight right by Aces.

That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Aces throws a combination but it was largely blocked by The Final Line. The Final Line looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. The Final Line looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The Final Line seems to be looking for submissions.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Aces throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Mark Aces is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Aces looks to score with a jab to the body but The Final Line is just out of range. Aces looks to land a combination. The Final Line sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The Final Line closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - The Final Line lands in his opponent's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The Final Line stops Aces from standing up. The Final Line thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. The Final Line drops back looking for a leg! Aces is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Aces manages to kick The Final Line off! The Final Line jumps back into Aces's guard. Aces looking to hit a scissor sweep but The Final Line is one step ahead there. The Final Line advances position into side control!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The Final Line swings around for an armbar but Aces sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into The Final Line's guard. The Final Line takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. The Final Line working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Aces doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Aces manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. The Final Line has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Aces can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The Final Line has his foot on Aces's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Aces works his way back into a safe position though. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Aces lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Aces has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of The Final Line is proving hard to escape from. Jack The Final Line has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Jack The Final Line. I think Aces has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
