Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Juha Suttu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Urho Itaniemi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Itaniemi's choice of entrance music: Volbeat - Still Counting. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Suttu misses its intended target.
Suttu lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Suttu lands with a good body shot.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Itaniemi is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Suttu sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Suttu shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Itaniemi is trying to defend but Suttu finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Itaniemi tries to lock up and control but Suttu gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Suttu has control of Itaniemi's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Itaniemi regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Itaniemi is squirming around, avoiding Suttu's attempts to control the action.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Itaniemi tries to hold on but Suttu pushes him away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Suttu throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Itaniemi because Suttu loaded up on that one.

Suttu goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Itaniemi is on top in guard.

Itaniemi stands up and waves to Suttu to follow him.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Itaniemi looks for the body kick but Suttu saw that one coming.
Itaniemi is looking to clinch but Suttu is avoiding it.
Suttu scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Suttu misses with a jab, cross combination.
Itaniemi thuds his right hand into Suttu's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Itaniemi tries a head kick but it misses.
Itaniemi walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Suttu checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Suttu takes a swing at Itaniemi's ribcage but misses.
Itaniemi moves out of range of the strikes.
Suttu misses with a hook to the body
and Itaniemi counters with a nice uppercut.
Suttu closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Suttu comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Itaniemi lands a nice shot to the body.
Suttu drops his hands momentarily and Itaniemi needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Suttu just on the top of the head. Suttu drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Suttu - he's done!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Urho Itaniemi!
