Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bud Spencer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DJ Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sanchez is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Somebodies Going Get Hit- 3 6 Mafia. DJ Sanchez has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bud Spencer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, DJ Sanchez! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Taro Takaoka and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Spencer scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Spencer moves in looking to clinch but Sanchez pushes him off. Spencer tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Sanchez swivels and escapes. Sanchez circles away from the clinch attempt.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Spencer!
Spencer shoots in for a takedown but Sanchez shows good takedown defense. Spencer stuffs the takedown. Sanchez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Spencer tries to avoid it but Sanchez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Spencer to the ground. Spencer escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Spencer lands with a straight right. Sanchez didn't see that one coming. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sanchez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Spencer tries to avoid it but Sanchez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Spencer to the ground. Spencer escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Bud Spencer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of DJ Sanchez. Spencer lands a nice shot to the body.
Spencer fails with the takedown and Sanchez counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Sanchez. Sanchez pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Spencer is keeping the position for now. Sanchez looks gassed! Spencer kicks Sanchez off and gets to his feet. Sanchez avoids a punch combination nicely.
Spencer could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Sanchez misses with a takedown attempt - Spencer sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Bud Spencer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Spencer shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Sanchez counters with a nice double leg into guard. Sanchez trying to control but Spencer is working from the bottom. Sanchez wants to pass the guard but Spencer is keeping the position. Sanchez seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Sanchez trying to control the position from guard on top but Spencer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sanchez stands up over Spencer, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Sanchez slips nicely into half guard. Spencer knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sanchez on the ground. Spencer is not content to let Sanchez control the position. Sanchez looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Spencer blocking the ground and pound attempt from Sanchez. Sanchez works his foot free and advances to mount. Sanchez looking to control but Spencer is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Spencer takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Sanchez stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Sanchez circles away from the clinch attempt and Sanchez counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Spencer is rocked! Sanchez is looking for a kimura but Spencer is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Sanchez to get the leverage. Oh Spencer is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Sanchez is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Spencer seems to have got his legs back now. Sanchez wants to pass the guard but Spencer is defending well. Sanchez has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sanchez prevents Spencer from improving his position. Spencer is not content to let Sanchez control the position. Spencer is trying to control but can't.

Spencer is trying is best to control the position here.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Sanchez changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Spencer looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Sanchez decides to stand back up. Sanchez clinches. Spencer pulls guard successfully.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Spencer is on top in guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Spencer wants to pass the guard but Sanchez is keeping the position. Spencer postures up.
Sanchez is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Sanchez is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Spencer stops Sanchez from standing up. Sanchez not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Sanchez manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Spencer can't escape the position.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Spencer is squirming around, avoiding Sanchez's attempts to control the action. Spencer is trying to escape the mount.
Sanchez is working to isolate an arm here. It's a choreographed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Sanchez extends the arm and Spencer is forced to tap!
