Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brett Cain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rumple Stiltzkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stiltzkin has chosen Solitaire Unraveling as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brett Cain!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rumple Stiltzkin!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Reed Andrews and Dean Styles.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stiltzkin closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Cain to the mat! Cain manages to get full guard.

Cain has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Stiltzkin can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Cain is looking for a triangle but Stiltzkin pushes his legs off easily.

Cain has his foot on Stiltzkin's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Stiltzkin works his way back into a safe position though.

Cain throws his legs up looking for a submission but Stiltzkin uses it to pass to side control.
Cain is looking for a sweep.
Stiltzkin working away.
Cain is trying to improve his position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Cain leaves Stiltzkin with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Stiltzkin darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Cain tries to roll over but Stiltzkin keeps him under control.

Cain looking for a kimura from the bottom but Stiltzkin passes into side control!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Cain tries to improve position but can't.
Stiltzkin wants to control but Cain is keeping him busy.
Cain tries to buck Stiltzkin off but Stiltzkin is having none of it.
Cain is working hard here to advance position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Stiltzkin fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Cain sprawls well initially but Stiltzkin persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Cain looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Stiltzkin pushes past his half guard into mount!

Cain is wriggling around trying to escape.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rumple Stiltzkin dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!



Stiltzkin looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Cain is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Stiltzkin pulls his head out easily.
Cain is looking to get back to full guard here but Stiltzkin has managed to pass to side control instead.
Cain is wriggling around trying to escape.
Cain is squirming around, avoiding Stiltzkin's attempts to control the action.
Cain is in all sorts of trouble here.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Cain sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Cain manages to get to full guard.

Cain is looking for a triangle but Stiltzkin pushes his legs off easily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Stiltzkin trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Stiltzkin trying to control the position from guard on top but Cain is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Cain working a defensive guard but Stiltzkin passes into half guard.
Cain has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Stiltzkin is working away from the top position though.
Stiltzkin sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Cain defending well though.
Cain gets full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Cain wants to sweep but no luck.

Stiltzkin is posturing up here but Cain has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Stiltzkin tries to roll out but it's too tight and Stiltzkin has to tap! Slick submission there by Cain!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:32 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Brett Cain!
