Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Desmond Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Leben (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steve Leben told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Joseph Jones and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nelson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Leben throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Leben displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Nelson throws out the jab.
Leben closes the distance and clinches.
Nelson can't break the clinch.
Leben throws an elbow but it misses.
Leben lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Leben lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Leben lands a hook that snaps the head of Nelson backwards.
Nelson wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Leben has him pressed against the cage.

Leben lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Leben dips a shoulder and cracks Nelson with a mighty uppercut! Nelson falls back against the cage and Leben unloads with a barrage of strikes! Nelson is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Leben screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
