Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Don Self (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Duncan Harty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Duncan Harty has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Don Self! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Duncan Harty! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Dillan Fox and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Self doesn't manage to clinch there - Harty circles away.
Self misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Harty motions for Self to come forward. Harty throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Harty fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Harty throws a head kick but Self moves out of range.
Self moves into range and clinches up with Harty. Harty wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Self prevents the takedown attempt.
Self is working for takedown but Harty is calmly controlling the position for now. Harty wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Harty is looking to break free of the clinch but Self has double underhooks. Harty is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Harty tries to score a body lock takedown but Self shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Harty wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Self has him pressed against the cage. Self's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Self looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Self tries to free his leg and advance position but Harty is retaining full guard. Harty wants to stand but Self is controlling the position. Harty wants to sweep but no luck. Self wants to pass the guard but Harty is keeping the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Harty trying to keep a closed guard but Self is proving a slippery customer.
Harty looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Self passes into half guard.
Harty looks gassed! Harty is trying to stand.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Harty throws a lazy right hand but Self sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Harty throws a series of punches but Self moves out of range. Self feints and as Harty raises his hands in defense, Self changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Self is looking to work some ground and pound but Harty has wrist control. Self is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Harty wants to sweep but no luck.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Self got a little sloppy there for a moment and Harty has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Self has managed to get both his arms back between Harty's legs - danger averted. Self trying to control but Harty is working from the bottom. Self pushes down on Harty's leg and manages to get into half guard. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Self in particular looking to stall. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Self wants to pass the guard but Harty is defending well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Self lands strikes from half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Self looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Self is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Self tries to pass to full mount but Harty defends it. Self decides to stand up. Self gets the takedown into side control. Harty tries to escape but Self is in control. Self wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Harty, who protects the arm well. Harty bucks up and tries to throw Self off but instead Self has got his back! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Don Self dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Self shoots in and bounces Harty off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Harty tries to land a sweep but no joy. Harty wriggles free and stands up. Harty takes one to the chin there. Self closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Well, if Self is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Harty is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Self jumps into side control! Harty is looking to reverse the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Harty can't do much from the bottom here. Self has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Harty! Self swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
