Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gooden is looking to clinch.
Backman scores with a punch to the head.
Gooden has a takedown stuffed.
Backman stuffs the takedown.
Gooden tries to score a power double leg takedown but Backman sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gooden somewhat.
Ben Backman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chase Gooden.

Gooden tries to keep at a distance but Backman has taken the fight into the clinch.
Backman presses Gooden against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Backman gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Gooden.

Gooden takes a shot to the head.
Backman digs a right hand underneath Gooden's ribcage. Gooden let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Backman pushes Gooden back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Backman lands a shoulder strike.

Backman lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Backman throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Goodens head.

Backman gets through Gooden's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Backman throws a big uppercut that drops Gooden! More strikes from Backman and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Gooden lies dazed against the cage as Backman celebrates with his cornermen!
