Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Earl Bennet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Timmy Wesley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wesley is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Eminem - Go to Sleep. Timmy Wesley will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Joseph Jones and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bennet takes a swing at Wesley's ribcage but misses.
Timmy Wesley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wesley closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Wesley listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
It looks like Earl Bennet has been cut.

and Wesley counters with a nice uppercut.
Bennet shoots in for a takedown but Wesley shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Bennet takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Wesley scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Bennet takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Wesley misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Wesley lands a nice shot that snaps Bennet's head back.
Jab, jab by Wesley - just one landing.
Wesley connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Bennet's hands.
Bennet throws a left and a right that both miss
and Wesley cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Bennet lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Wesley has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Wesley and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Bennet throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Wesley counters with a combination of strikes to the head and body that crumple Bennet!
Bennet is rocked!

Wesley looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Bennet knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wesley on the ground.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Wesley lands a nice short elbow.

Bennet is staying active underneath Wesley, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Bennet wants to get back to full guard.
Wesley throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wesley is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Bennet wants to control but Wesley is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Wesley slows the pace down in half guard.

Bennet is working hard here to advance position.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Bennet takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Wesley with a body punch. A glancing blow.

Bennet lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Bennet fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Wesley manages to avoid it.
Bennet takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Timmy Wesley is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

enabling Wesley to counter with a crisp jab.
Wesley uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Timmy Wesley dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Earl Bennet's cut.
That's time! Bennet's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Bennet throws a left and a right that both miss
and Wesley counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Wesley will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Earl Bennet is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Wesley slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Bennet takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Wesley stalks Bennet and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Bennet's face. Bennet staggers backwards, shaken.
Wesley connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Bennet momentarily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Wesley moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Wesley has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Wesley scores with a hook to the body. Bennet takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Wesley throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Bennet colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Wesley as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Bennet is left battered and dazed whilst Wesley and his camp cheer!
