Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nick Bradshaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John CarBobble (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nick Bradshaw! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, John CarBobble! The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Chad Campbell and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! CarBobble is looking to clinch but Bradshaw is avoiding it.
Bradshaw scores with a takedown into CarBobble's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bradshaw throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as CarBobble works some decent striking defense from the bottom. CarBobble being controlled here, momentarily. Bradshaw loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Bradshaw missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bradshaw slips nicely into half guard. Bradshaw seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Bradshaw connects with a nice short shot to CarBobble's temple. Bradshaw lands with a punch from half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bradshaw wants to pass to mount but CarBobble is defending the position. CarBobble keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Bradshaw stops CarBobble from getting back to his feet.
Bradshaw not landing any meaningful shots this time. Bradshaw has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Bradshaw is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so CarBobble is just riding it out for now. Bradshaw eventually gives up the hold. Bradshaw trying to control the action but CarBobble is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. CarBobble preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Bradshaw drops an elbow to the side of CarBobble's head. Bradshaw missing with the ground and pound from half guard. CarBobble keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Bradshaw throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Bradshaw scoring with strikes to the body and head. Well, if Bradshaw is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. The fight stays on the outside here - CarBobble looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Bradshaw scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. An elbow from Bradshaw crashes against the mat.
CarBobble is working to avoid the ground and pound but Bradshaw connects with a decent elbow. Bradshaw controlling the position. CarBobble is looking to regain half guard here but Bradshaw keeps moving and retains side control.

If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. CarBobble is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Bradshaw sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but CarBobble is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

CarBobble escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

CarBobble throws a right and a left that Bradshaw avoids nicely. CarBobble swats away the attempt to clinch by Bradshaw. CarBobble gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Bradshaw to score an easy takedown into full guard. CarBobble trying to control the position.
Bradshaw is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Bradshaw trying to control but CarBobble is working from the bottom.

Bradshaw stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. CarBobble swivels though and keeps the full guard. Bradshaw throwing strikes from guard but CarBobble blocks nicely.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Bradshaw swats away the attempt to clinch by CarBobble. CarBobble gets caught flat footed, as Bradshaw shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Bradshaw trying to control the position from guard on top but CarBobble is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. CarBobble is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. CarBobble not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
CarBobble wants to get back to his feet but Bradshaw is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Bradshaw throws a big right hand that misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. CarBobble avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Bradshaw's corner. There ya go! There ya go! CarBobble trying to control the position.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Bradshaw bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Bradshaw wants to lay and pray for a moment but CarBobble keeps working. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. CarBobble takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John CarBobble showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Nick Bradshaw's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
No luck for Bradshaw with that takedown attempt. John CarBobble seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bradshaw feints and as CarBobble raises his hands in defense, Bradshaw changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. CarBobble looking for a sweep. Not yet CarBobble, not yet. CarBobble is trying to control the position but Bradshaw postures up. Bradshaw is looking to work some ground and pound but CarBobble has wrist control. Bradshaw is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Bradshaw drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and CarBobble dives on top into guard. CarBobble must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

CarBobble pushing down on Bradshaw's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. CarBobble wants to stand but Bradshaw has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Bradshaw wants to improve his position but CarBobble is controlling well.
Bradshaw might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Bradshaw is working hard here to advance position. CarBobble tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. CarBobble throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. CarBobble wants to clinch up but Bradshaw keeps it at a distance. CarBobble leaves Bradshaw with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. A swing and a miss from CarBobble. CarBobble is looking to clinch but Bradshaw is avoiding it.

CarBobble tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bradshaw paws at him with a jab and circles away. CarBobble throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bradshaw. Bradshaw swats away the attempt to clinch by CarBobble. Bradshaw could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Bradshaw fakes high and swings low for a body shot but CarBobble manages to avoid it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bradshaw closes the distance and clinches up with CarBobble, looking for a takedown. Bradshaw pushes CarBobble against the cage but CarBobble circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nick Bradshaw. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bradshaw throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. CarBobble was covering up waiting for the punch and Bradshaw finishes the takedown easily into guard. Bradshaw throws and elbow that misses. CarBobble uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Bradshaw's guard. Nice move by CarBobble! CarBobble missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Bradshaw lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for CarBobble! CarBobble takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
