Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Marques (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronny Torres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ronny Torres is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Torres is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Marques to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Marques shrugs it off.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Torres shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Marques manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Torres has hold of Marques's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Marques manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Ronny Torres showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Torres gets caught flat footed, as Marques shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Torres working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Marques doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Marques manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Marques has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Antonio Marques.
Well Torres has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
