Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Aron Elvar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carson Cools (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Aron Elvar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Carson Cools! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Elvar tries to clinch there but Cools circles away.
Elvar shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Cools but Cools pushes him off and we're back to square one. Cools misses the jab. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Elvar is defended easily by Cools. Elvar tries to close the distance and clinch but Cools swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. No luck for Cools with that takedown attempt. Elvar lands a nice looking body kick. Elvar shoots and misses and Cools moves into the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Aron Elvar. That's going to take a lot out of him. Elvar gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Cools.
Elvar tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Cools just stands there and leans against the cage. Cools breaks the clinch.
Elvar tries to clinch but fails miserably and Cools counters with a nice body kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cools scores a takedown into full mount! Cools breaks from Elvar's wrist control and lands an elbow. Elvar is desperately trying to improve his position but Cools has a good base and remains in mount. Cools goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Elvar is on top in guard.
Elvar working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Elvar trying to control but Cools is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cools looking for a sweep. Not yet Cools, not yet. Cools has a closed guard, preventing Elvar from standing up. Elvar prevents Cools from getting back to his feet. Elvar tries to stand but Cools is controlling from the bottom. Elvar trying to control but Cools is working from the bottom. Elvar looking to control the position here, rather than advance. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Cools misses with a takedown and Elvar counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Cools's guard now. Elvar is breathing heavily. Elvar wants to control from the top but Cools keeps moving. Elvar's corner is telling him to maintain position. Cools is trying to keep Elvar in close.
Elvar has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Cools is proving hard to escape from. Cools not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Elvar's corner is telling him to maintain position. Cools wants to control but Elvar passes easily into half guard.
Elvar is thwarting Cools's attempts to control the position. Elvar is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Aron Elvar dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Cools fails with the takedown and Elvar counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Elvar chips away with some ground and pound. Elvar has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Cools is proving hard to escape from. Cools is trying to control the position but Elvar postures up. Elvar working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Cools is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Cools thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Cools is controlling Elvar's posture. Cools is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Elvar controls from within his opponent's guard. Cools wants to sweep but no luck. Cools throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Elvar trying to control the position from guard on top but Cools is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Cools is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Excellent takedown into side control there by Elvar.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Elvar advances nicely into full mount. Elvar trying to control but he's not successful this time. Cools tries to reverse the position but Elvar maintains control. Elvar lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Elvar prevents Cools from getting the reversal. Elvar is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Cools is in real trouble.
Elvar has the hooks in. Cools is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cools is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Elvar.
Elvar lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Cools.
Elvar is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Cools. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped. Elvar connects with a big shot to the side of Cools's head.
Cools is trying to stand back up. Cools looking very determined here, making life difficult for Elvar.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. You can see the frustration on Cools's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Elvar controls the action. Elvar gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes. Cools is trying to break free.
Elvar lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK. Elvar looking to soften up his opponent with punches.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Aron Elvar dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Elvar drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Cools is trying to improve his position. Elvar controlling from side mount. Elvar swings around for an armbar but Cools sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Elvar's guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Elvar working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Cools. Elvar is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Cools trying to control but Elvar is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cools preventing the sweep. Cools controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Elvar not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Elvar rushes Cools and presses him up against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Cools lands a knee to the body.
Elvar escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Elvar scores with a decent looking hook. Elvar tries for a takedown but Cools circles away easily and Cools holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Cools has hold of one of Elvar's legs. Elvar is fighting the takedown attempt but Cools gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Aron Elvar overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Elvar is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Cools wants to control but Elvar is keeping busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cools is refusing to be controlled, as Elvar sits in half guard. Cools wants to get back to full guard. Cools makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Elvar tries to clinch up so Cools counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Elvar wants to sweep here but Cools controlling him for the moment. Cools in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cools pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Elvar is keeping the position for now. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Elvar is on top in guard.
Cools controlling the position. Elvar wants to control from the top but Cools keeps moving.
And that's the end of the fight! Carson Cools comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Elvar has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
