Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Royce Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Stout (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stout has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Royce Lee could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Sam Stout's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee throws a series of strikes that have Stout backpedaling.
Stout looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Lee clinches up against the cage.
Lee tries to pull guard but Stout holds him up against the cage and eventually Lee drops back down to his feet.
Lee tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Stout smiles and moves away.
Lee dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Lee decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Stout is staying active underneath Lee, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lee is trying to control. Stout wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Stout takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Lee is looking to stand up but Stout isn't so interested in that idea.
Royce Lee overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Stout wants to control from the top but Lee keeps moving.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lee is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Stout is controlling him.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Lee tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Lee has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Stout trying to control but Lee is working from the bottom.
Stout trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Lee pulls Stout in close to prevent any damage.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Stout won't allow Lee to sweep him here.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Stout swats away the attempt to clinch by Lee.
Stout takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Stout takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Lee lands with a cross.
Lee throws a sloppy head kick and Stout moves out of range easily.
Stout moves out of range of the body kick.
Lee lands with a hook. Stout tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

A jab lands there for Lee.
Lee is looking to clinch but Stout is avoiding it.
Lee punishes Stout's body with a nice straight punch.
Lee looks to land a combination but Stout avoids it well.

Stout takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Lee slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Lee is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Stout can do to turn this around?

Lee throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Stout stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Stout doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Lee changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Stout looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Stout takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Lee lands some shots froms side control.

Lee is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Stout knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Lee tries for a kimura but Stout is defending well.
Stout tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Lee wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Lee wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Stout, who protects the arm well.

Well Lee has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
